The precisely crafted brass sleeve comes from the Viennese workshop Carl Auböck, which has been creating functional objects with sculptural precision for four generations. On top: a hand-crafted plaque in white biscuit porcelain, showing Clara in relief. The motif traces back to Peter Anton von Verschaffelt's famous rhinoceros from 1770 – the first Indian rhinoceros Europe had ever seen. The unglazed porcelain surface emphasizes every contour, every detail is crafted by hand.
