The youngest elephant in the store is Hilde. The 10 cm high baby elephant with a raised trunk is one of the manufactory's most successful models. When August Göhring took up his position as a modeller at Nymphenburg in 1914, he was fascinated by the aura of elephants, which he carefully studied at Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich.
