Saâdane Afif

Saâdane Afif invites writers to write about works of art. By letting musicians and actors react to the resulting texts, he transfers the visual to other senses. His method is dynamic; artistic works always produce new artistic works, one exhibition leads to the next, and these relate to one another and are interwoven. In this development of the works, that appears so logical, the aspect of transformation in his work is of utmost importance. This allows different external influences to shape the creation, but which always seek the elusive and untranslatable essence of the work of art. Saâdane Afif was born in 1970 in Vendôme, France. He lives and works in Berlin.
