Reed Kram
Swedish designer Reed Kram was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1971. He studied at Duke University and as a Fulbright Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In his projects he always deals with interactive media in a spatial context. Together with Clemens Weisshaar he founded the office Kram/Weisshaar in 2002 as a platform for their multidisciplinary activities. Based in Munich and Stockholm, they devote themselves to projects for the design of spaces, products and media in collaboration with architects and engineers. Kram/Weisshaar stands for the combination of conventional production methods with the latest technological possibilities. Under the title My Private Sky, the duo designed a constellation ensemble of seven individually painted placemats.g
Porzellan Manufaktur nymphenburg
Nymphenburg ist die letzte Reinstmanufaktur ihrer Art. Seit der Gründung im Jahre 1747 wird in der Manufaktur des Bayerischen Königshauses die hohe Kunst der Porzellanherstellung gepflegt. Manu factum bedeutet dort bis zum heutigen Tage: komplett von Hand gemacht in Techniken, die von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben und bewahrt werden.
