Pae White

Pae White, born in Pasadena in 1963, draws inspiration for her work from a wide variety of sources in art history and pop culture. In her work, the boundaries between fine art and design become blurred. In many of her works, aspects of her own life and elements of different cultures are directly interwoven - as in her contribution to the "Skulptur Projekte Münster 2007". For this project, three large bells in majolica were realized in the master workshops of Nymphenburg. For the opening of Berlin Brandenburg Airport in 2020, her largest sculpture to date, "Flying Carpet," was presented to the public. It is located in the main terminal.
Porzellan Manufaktur nymphenburg
