Khashayar Naimanan
Khashayar Naimanan, born in London in 1976, began his career as a graffiti sprayer and photographer at the age of 15. Even during his studies at London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art, he was interested in possible forms of concealment: he designed garments with hidden pockets or fused valuable materials into nails whose pin was meant to be hidden from the gaze of others. For the Nymphenburg Hidden Wealth service, he simply reversed existing conventions: the decoration is emblazoned on the underside of the dinnerware, while only the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg brand is visible on the top. The staging includes a mirror table that reveals the precious painting at second glance.

Nymphenburg ist die letzte Reinstmanufaktur ihrer Art. Seit der Gründung im Jahre 1747 wird in der Manufaktur des Bayerischen Königshauses die hohe Kunst der Porzellanherstellung gepflegt. Manu factum bedeutet dort bis zum heutigen Tage: komplett von Hand gemacht in Techniken, die von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben und bewahrt werden.
