Dr. Heinrich Kauper

Dr. Heinrich Kauper continued the building renovation initiated by Philipp Freiherr von Redwitz. In 1996, he had the "alte Schleif", a former workshop on the manufactory grounds, converted into a function room. The redesign of the large Nymphenburg majolica, the revival of some Art Nouveau designs and the introduction of dishwasher-safe service can be attributed to his commitment. Among the best-known new designs of this period are the Schäffler figures by Schröder-Lechner (1986), the design of the television award (Panther) by Anton Hörl (1989) and the golfer by Michael Gattnarzik (1996).
