Terence Koh

Born in China in 1980, Terence Koh's work includes drawings, installations, performances, sculptures, and prints. It deals with beauty and the overriding transcendence of emptiness, the intertwining of life and death, and constellations of the somber. His works, which renegotiate the boundaries of private and public space, are characterized by a well-defined aesthetic that often seems both baroquely overloaded and minimalist. Existential contemplations are further hallmarks of his work, which challenges the traditional understanding of the "white cube" exhibition concept. As a commissioned work for him or the installation Snow White (Julia Stoschek Collection), Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg realized a series of chrysanthemums in 2008.
Porzellan Manufaktur nymphenburg
